Get the size right the first time

1. Measure in the evening, when your feet are at their largest.
2. Wear the sock you'd wear on shift — sock thickness is a half size.
3. Stand on a sheet of paper against a wall, heel touching the wall, and mark the tip of your longest toe.
4. Measure heel to mark in inches. Repeat for the other foot.
5. Use the larger of the two measurements against the table below.

If you're between sizes, take the larger one — duty boots are worn with a heavier sock and your foot swells across a shift. Wide feet should size up a half from the measured length until we release a wide last.
