Our standard
What we claim, and what we don't
This page exists so you can check us before you buy. Everything below is either documented or marked as pending.
Country of origin
Rockvale boots are manufactured in the United States. The specific facility and state are listed on request, and we will name them here once production documentation is confirmed.
Materials sourcing
We buy uppers on durability behaviour rather than grade names: full-grain flesh-out leather because it abrades instead of cracking, high-denier nylon and fast-drying mesh where the boot has to breathe and shed water, and rubber outsole compounds chosen for oil and slip resistance on hard surfaces first.
Where a component is sourced outside the U.S., we say so rather than describing the boot loosely as American.
Compliance and certifications
We display certification marks only against written documentation. As of now, no certification badge appears on any product page. Berry compliance and ASTM F2413 are both in progress and will be published per model, with the certifying document available on request, once complete.
Sprytak's tactical vest line is non-ballistic. Rockvale sells footwear only and makes no ballistic or protective-armour claim of any kind.
Our promise
If a Rockvale boot fails through a defect in materials or workmanship, we replace it. Not a credit against a future order, not a repair queue — a replacement pair. That is the standard the brand is built on, and it is deliberately narrow so we can honour it without argument.
Reviews and social proof
We publish only verified-purchase reviews, unedited. We have never written a review, bought one, or removed a negative one, and we will not start.
