About
A short line, defended item by item
Sprytak has built duty and tactical equipment since 2018 for law enforcement, security, and civilian tactical use — and develops footwear separately, under Rockvale.

Why we exist
Duty equipment sits in an awkward gap. At one end there are contract items built to a specification sheet and a price ceiling, sold on volume with no one answering for how they wear at month eight. At the other end there is outdoor gear that is genuinely well made but never designed for a uniform, a vehicle seat, or twelve hours on concrete. Most of what fills the space between the two is the same handful of factory patterns relabelled by whoever ordered the container.
Sprytak exists to carry a line small enough that we can describe every item by its materials, its construction, and where it was made — carriers and vests, pouches and belts, uniform apparel, and gloves and insignia work.
How we work
We start from the wear cycle, not the pattern book. Each item is specified around a real shift — how much of it is seated, where it loads, where it flexes, and what fails first when it doesn't. The line stays narrow on purpose.
Materials, construction, and country of origin are printed on the product page. If we can't defend a claim line by line, it doesn't go on the site.
Rockvale: footwear, handled separately

Boots kept coming up as the weak link: the piece of kit people replace most often and complain about most specifically. Footwear is also a different discipline — different lasts, different testing, different failure points — so it is developed under its own brand rather than added as a row in a gear catalog.
Rockvale sits inside Sprytak, sharing one storefront, checkout, support desk, and warranty. See Rockvale Boots.
On certifications
We list only what is confirmed in writing. Where documentation is still in progress — Berry compliance, ASTM F2413, GSA schedules — the page says so instead of showing a badge.
Brand voice
Sprytak speaks as a team. There is no founder byline on this site, by choice: the equipment and the specifications are the argument.
